A part of the first NCAA Division II National Championship team in program history, Freya Davies joined the NSU Women's Tennis coaching staff in August 2024.
In one season at NSU, Davies accumulated a record of 19-9 in singles play and 32-4 in doubles, forming the top doubles tandem in the nation alongside Natalie Espinal. Davies and Espinal won the ITA Doubles Cup title in October of 2023. In the spring season, the duo followed by winning 11 consecutive doubles matches spanning from February 6th through March 27th and closed the year on a 10 match winning streak from April 21st through the NCAA National Championship match against Barry on May 25th.
In singles competition, Davies went 4-1 during the NCAA Tournament, including winning a point for NSU in the NCAA national title match.
Prior to NSU, Davies played for the University of Bath (ENG.), where she starred as the top player and captain of the women's tennis team. Davies is a three-time medalist at the United Kingdom.
